Engine Guide
A quick walkthrough of pools, swaps, networks, and your LP positions.

Workflow
Create a market for two existing tokens, provide liquidity, and manage your share from My positions. Liquidity covers the full price range; custom price ranges and bins are not available.
- Connect your wallet and select the same Robinhood network in the workspace and wallet. Keep ETH available for gas.
- Open an existing pool in Pool explorer, or choose Create a pool and enter both token contracts.
- Enter your maximum deposit for each asset. Your deposit ratio sets the starting price for a new pool; an existing pool uses its current ratio.
- Review the assets, recipient, minimum deposits, and required spending approvals. Simulate each step before signing.
- Confirm each transaction in your wallet. An approval grants permission; the separate liquidity transaction deposits your assets.
- Wait for confirmation, then open My positions to view your LP tokens. Choose Remove liquidity on the pool page when you want to redeem your share.
Swap
A funded pool must exist for your token pair on the selected network. Swap exchanges your input asset against that pool's reserves, so larger trades can move the price more.
- Open Swap or use the Swap action on a pool page.
- Choose the input and output assets, then enter the amount to sell.
- Check the estimated output, price impact, and minimum received. Adjust slippage only after reviewing that minimum.
- Review and simulate the transaction. Confirm a token approval if required, then confirm the separate swap transaction.
- Wait for a confirmed result in Activity and check the output balance in your wallet.
Fees
Slippage tolerance is your execution limit. It is not a trading fee or income paid to a pool creator.
The pool swap fee is 0.30%. It accrues in pool reserves, subject to the protocol fee if enabled. Your share is included in your LP position and redeemed when you remove liquidity.
Where enabled for the selected network, Meteopad charges a one-time US$5-equivalent ETH fee only for a new pair and its first liquidity deposit. Existing-pool additions, withdrawals and swaps have no Meteopad service fee. When creation fees are disabled, the service fee is 0. The prepared review confirms the fee, ETH maximum and oracle age before you sign. Network gas still applies, including for approvals. Creating a pool does not grant its creator a special royalty.
Approvals allow the reviewed contract to spend the requested token amount. If you cancel an operation after approving, an unused allowance can remain. Open Permission Center to inspect and revoke it.
Networks
Robinhood Testnet uses chain ID 46630 and test ETH for gas. Robinhood Mainnet uses chain ID 4663 and ETH for gas. Use the network selector in the workspace header and match it in your wallet.
Token contracts and balances belong to a specific network. Testnet ETH and tokens cannot be used as mainnet assets. For a native ETH pair, ETH is wrapped during the liquidity transaction; a separate WETH deposit is not required.
Open Get started to check current network access, wallet connection, and gas balance. The workspace banner shows whether transactions are available or the selected network is read-only.
The Pool creation fee panel checks three separate signals: this website's fee setting, the verified creator's active or paused state, and its ETH/USD reference quote. An active contract does not automatically enable a website fee. Expand the details to inspect the creator, treasury, oracle timestamp and observation block. Refresh after a configuration or contract-state change. The prepared transaction review checks the applied fee again before signing.
Testnet-deployment
Before requesting test assets, open Get started and confirm that Testnet shows transactions are available.
Select Robinhood Testnet in Get started. Only after transaction availability is confirmed, obtain test ETH from the Robinhood Testnet faucet and test tokens deployed on the same network.
- Connect the wallet holding your test assets and switch it to chain 46630.
- Check that Get started confirms pool access and your wallet's gas balance.
- Open Create a pool, enter a test token contract, and choose ETH or a second test token.
- Use small deposit amounts and keep additional test ETH for transaction fees.
- Review, simulate, and confirm each step. Verify the result in Activity and My positions.
Data
Pool reserves and your LP balance are shown with the block used to read them. A historical chart is a record of past prices, while a swap quote uses the current pool reserves. Their values can differ.
Pool search covers the current results page. My positions reports incomplete reads when it cannot finish checking the available pools; an incomplete result does not prove that you have no position.
Liquidity Passport records an on-chain pool snapshot. Save a reference and open Watchtower to compare a later reading. Saved references belong to this browser. Unavailable history or checks remain marked as unavailable.
Risks
- Price changes can make your LP position worth less than holding the assets separately.
- Token restrictions, administrative controls, or contract vulnerabilities can affect your ability to trade or withdraw.
- Transactions can revert, gas costs can change, and network data can be delayed.
Roadmap
A. Implemented workflows
Pool creation, adding and removing liquidity, direct swaps, My Positions, Liquidity Passport, Watchtower, and Permission Center have been implemented. Pool explorer and Activity support these workflows. Implementation does not mean transactions are publicly available on every network.
B. Network availability
Check the live Network availability before preparing a transaction. It reflects this deployment's mainnet and testnet transaction permissions and pool-contract readiness. A connected RPC alone does not establish transaction access.
C. Planned features
Automatic fee distribution, advanced position analytics, and automation are planned for later releases under Meteopad Whitepaper v0.2. Custom price ranges, bins, and multi-pool routing are also not available in the current workspace.
The deployment-dependent new-pool fee, token allocation, and surplus model are described on the separate [Economy](/economy) page. The optional US$15 per pool per month Pro service remains a future release. Mainnet and Testnet have separate creation-fee settings; check the prepared transaction review for your selected network. Pool swap fees and LP withdrawals are explained in Fees and LP rights.
